Initial situation.
Organising SQLI into a network of geographically distributed independent agencies created inconsistencies between agencies in terms of licensing management. The licence purchase policy was decentralised with specific configurations whereby each SQLI agency used different tools without any global oversight by subscribing to local contracts for similar software publishers.
Results.
Cost rationalisation, economies of scale and risk reduction have emerged in concrete form through group contracts with major vendors such as Microsoft and Adobe. Today, support continues as licensing and rules of use continue to evolve.
By working with Bechtle Comsoft, SQLI was able to improve the governance of its software licences and contracts.
Bechtle Comsoft has been managing our IT infrastructure and projects for about ten years and we are highly satisfied with the quality of their services. Their teams are always responsive and their advice meets our needs and helps to guarantee our efficiency.
